¡Feliz Año!

Happy 2009, everyone!  We rang in the New Year with our sweet new BA friends, Boris and Nina (thanks, Alexandra!).   At midnight, we ran up to the roof our our building (about the 20th floor) and caught the most amazing fireworks display I have ever seen: literally fireworks flying out of every building a city FILLED with buildings.  It was like the whole city was exploding in color for miles.  Pretty incredible (and a little terrifying).  After an impromptu training session with Trainer Dave, we headed to a local party at a friend's house filled with good music, friendly people, yummy sweets and even a little acrobatics!  Overall, this chilly evening in BA was a peaceful and joyous celebration of what I hope is the first of many years of change, hope and a better future for our world.  My cold is also almost gone - which apparently means that staying up until 5AM, eating pizza and ice cream and drinking multiple glasses of Argentine wine is the way to treat one!  I knew I loved this place!

We'll leave you with some parting shots that Dave took on our camera of Boris' acrobatics partner doing a truly beautiful juggling routine with clubs that light up  to create cool patterns in the dark (reminded me of the butterflies in Iguazu)...  The first pic is with the flash and the last few are without.

So there you go - the other light show from Argentina last night.

Before I sign off - We want to wish you all peace, real love, joy in small places, patience, a little clarity and great light in the coming year.  We're so grateful for the love of family and friends that fills our hearts and lives.  Let's join up and make it a better year than 2008.

I'm ready to get to work.

BIG BIG Love...

xoxo
